Community rallies to prepare Bahrain Elementary School for Universal Prekindergarten launch
Despite a delay in the arrival of prekindergarten furniture, the Bahrain Elementary School community demonstrated remarkable teamwork and dedication to ensure everything was ready for the launch of universal prekindergarten on Sept. 9. The delay, initially a cause for concern, turned into an opportunity for the community to come together and support the school.
Over the weekend, 21 Naval Support Activity Bahrain sailors and eight dedicated parents volunteered their time and effort. They worked tirelessly to unpack, sort, and place the new materials and furniture in the classrooms. The volunteers meticulously organized the classroom spaces, ensuring everything was in its proper place and ready for the young learners. This joint effort expedited the setup process and fostered a sense of camaraderie and community spirit.
As Sept. 9 arrived, the excitement and anticipation were palpable. Bahrain Elementary School prekindergarten students, carrying their backpacks, eagerly entered the newly prepared classrooms on Monday.
