Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Community Members:

We are currently waiting for the facility assessment reports from Public Works and BISA. These reports are essential as they will help us determine which spaces will be available for use shortly and when we can expect to utilize each area in the building. We expect to receive the assessment on Sunday which will provide insight to when we can reoccupy or use the building for school. Therefore, we have decided to move forward with remote learning next week. Sunday will be a full planning day for teachers. Students can access the school on Sunday from 10:00-12:00 am or 3:00-5:00 pm to pick up any necessary items for remote learning. Laptops will be available to families that need additional resources based on the number of students in the family.

On Monday, April 22, teachers will provide students with remote lessons and activities. Teachers will remind/familiarize students with the digital platform to be used by the teacher and where/how to access the platform.

We are actively exploring all options to return to in-person school operations, and we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.

We have determined that high school sports will continue as usual. Extracurricular activities will resume once we can coordinate and plan any necessary changes. Further information on student activities will be sent out in the coming days.

Here is the Schedule for the coming week:

Sunday-April 21, 2024: Teacher planning/Students enter school and retrieve items needed for remote learning. Students/Parents can access the school at the following times on Sunday: 10:00-12:00 am or 3:00-5:00 pm.

Monday-April 22, 2024: Teachers and Students begin remote learning
