Students at Bahrain Elementary School have another activity to enjoy during their recess time – an Outdoor Book Walk! Mrs. Rowe, Bahrain ES Information Specialist, got the idea from social media and brought it to life at Bahrain School. Staff created the gallery-like frames which are placed under an awning for shaded viewing by students. The first book highlighted in the book walk is “Six Dinner Sid” by Inga Moore. Mrs. Rowe expressed that this was a favorite read-aloud and that in Bahrain, we can all relate to stray cats coming around looking for another dinner! A hard copy version of the book is available for checkout in the library. New books or other fun literary information will be changed out about every two weeks. Be sure to check back and see what’s new on the Outdoor Book Walk!
